Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach

One of the most iconic and photographed beaches in Greece, Navagio Beach, also known as Shipwreck Beach, is famous for its stunning turquoise waters, white sandy shore, and the rusting remains of the MV Panagiotis shipwreck (no relation to the groom—he’ll make it to the wedding in one piece).

Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, it offers a breathtaking setting that feels almost unreal. The beach is accessible only by boat, with excursions departing from various ports around the island, including Porto Vromi and Agios Nikolaos. If you prefer to admire the view from above, you can visit the Navagio Beach Viewpoint, an observatory on the cliffs, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the bay.
